PAIA Manual

This manual is provided under the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA), and explains how you may request access to records held by Tennant Group.

PAIA gives effect to the constitutional right of access to information. This manual sets out how to make a request, the records we hold, and how we respond.

Records we hold

As a financial services group, we hold records relating to the administration of benefits, funds, wealth, payroll and the related services we provide to our clients and their members, as well as ordinary business records such as company, employee and supplier information. Some records are also governed by other legislation that may affect access.

How to request access

  • Submit your request in writing to our Information Officer using the contact details below.
  • Provide enough detail to identify the record and the right you are seeking to exercise.
  • Provide your contact details and the form of access you would prefer.
  • Where the law allows, a reasonable fee may apply for searching, preparing and providing records.

Our response

We will process your request within the timeframes set out in PAIA and notify you of the outcome. Access may be refused on the limited grounds permitted by the Act, in which case we will give reasons.
